1988 The team was founded in 1988 in Alma-Ata ( USSR, now Republic of Kazakhstan).
1989 In 1989 "Gratsia" ( the first name of the team) qualified for the first women's football National Championship.
1990 In 1990 "Gratsia" was renamed "Merey" ( on the name of team's sponsor). The team took the 7th place in the 1st Women's National Championship.
1991 In 1991, as the Soviet Union collapsed, the team moved to Russia. The new name CSK VVS ( it's the abbreviation, which can be translated as: Central Sports Club of the Air Force) was adopted. 1992 Since 1992 CSK VVS is based in Samara.
